Subject: Uniforms and Responses to Earlier Request
Dear Team:
It is important that I hear from the few players who have not yet indicated whether they can play a practice game on Sunday from 12:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. at Friendship Field. The other team is waiting for us to confirm and would like to know now so they can make other arrangements if we do not have enough players.
I am pleased to let the team know that the League has added Chris Ayson as the newest member of the Twins.
The uniform jerseys were delivered on Monday and I have been told I can pick ours up this evening. Distribution is going to be difficult, but I have a plan and will need your help. As noted earlier, we have a practice scheduled Friday evening from 6:30 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. at Friendship Field. The most up to date weather forecast indicates it will be cloudy and warm but not raining. Thus, I will bring the uniforms to practice for distribution. In the event that practice is rained out -- or in the event your player will not make the Friday practice -- I will need to arrange to have you pick up uniforms from bags left on the side porch of our home on 20 Beech Tree Lane. Let me know if anyone needs other arrangements. (I have to be at the Little League office tonight and am attending a mandatory Troop 1 Boy Scout administrative meeting tomorrow night.)
Please remember to let me know this afternoon (if you haven't already) if your player will or will not make a scrimmage on Sunday from 12:30 until 2:30. If we cannot field enough for a team, we will revert to the original practice schedule of 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Friendship Field on Sunday.
Best regards,
Blake
